There are a few lightsaber movies on youtube that I watch whenever I'm bored or in need of melee weapon action. 2 weeks ago Ryan Weiber and Dorkman released their 2nd movie. This thing flat out beats most if not all of the saber fights in the Starwars movies. Their first movie was pretty decent with a few parts that could have been done better and it had a wierd ending. Ryan went ahead and made another saber vid with someone else that would have been better than the one he made with dorkman if there werent so many moments where they seemed tired and if the hand to hand stuff was quicker and smoother.

Ryan and "Dorkman" Michael Scott are both special effects artists who had a friendly rivalry going on in school, which eventually led them to make their first movie. But in this 2nd movie between them they pretty much perfected their special effects and coreography, and whoever they got to do the music did a good job. Actually there are a lot of people in the credits who helped them make it, and it really shows.

The only thing that would make me like this newest vid better is if some of the movements were quickened (just a tad), and if they traded a few more saber strikes using both hands to make it look more powerful like a baseball bat.

There are some other lightsaber vids that are funny, but this is just a list of actual duels rather than story. Art of the Saber has a short intro monolouge but its no big deal. If you want more just type Lightsaber into youtube.
